We present: Secuencia 3 Radio, a Radio / Podcast where we offer series of thematic programs and music mixes. Nothing new under the sun, but with a different claim. Claim that we as listeners we threw at fault and so we decided to get to the other side and give ourselves what we demand, respect for electronic music, because the current communicative possibilities and musical democratization bring us the opportunity. No big supports, no big media, but we work with great care and respect for the music in general and electronic music in particular. We do not want to give lessons because we are not who. Iván Corrochano is one of the most versatile DJs in Madrid, with a long experience after 20 years behind the decks, working on the radio and the music business. Currently, his work is focused on leading the spanish office of one of the most important distributors of digital music in Germany, dig dis! As a DJ, he has been developing a long career in the most famous clubs in Madrid and surroundings. Nowadays, he is still working on a different range of great styles such as 80s, Ebm, Acid-house, Techno or Trance. For his daily techno and house sets, he is also known as “DYCA”. He is an absolutely supporter of the Roland Tb-303 sound who loves searching music on vinyl, and adding more classics to his extensive collection. For this Podcast, Iván is offering us a non-common set where everything comes from the oldest vinyls, some of them more than 25 years old. Vintage sounds of the first drum machines, awesome basslines and playful sampling. He creates a tour from the Electro and New Beat to sounds of Chicago and Detroit. It becomes more acid in the second half, being mixed with the most accurate technic and handling which it deserves. Enjoy!
