INSIDE THE NCAA: THE AMA EXPERIENCE - Division I Council Wrap-Up


Host Chris Johnson and guests give a recap of the discussion and decisions made at the October 3-4 NCAA Division I Council meeting.
First guest is Lynda Tealer, chair of the DI Council and Deputy Athletic Director at the University of Florida, who provides an overview of the topics the DI Council heard and are acting on. She is followed by Cody Shimp and Morgyn Wynne, the chair and vice-chair of the Division I Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and student-athlete representatives on the DI Council. Cody, a recent graduate baseball player at St. Bonaventure University, and Morgyn, a recent graduate softball player at Oklahoma State University, provide the voice of the student-athlete and its impact on the DI Council and legislative process.
