After Eight Show - 27/09/16
As usual, it was mostly #NewMusic from artists and bands who do not get very much airplay on conventional stations which tend just to play music from musicians who are already well known. There was new music from Tash Sultana, Marnie Herald, Palace, Alpines, Georgia Ruth, Trio ELF, Fruit Bats and many others. There was a brand new single from Seasick Steve and our Luvva Cover was a reinterpretation of a song that has clocked up 133 million plays on Spotify! Plus, it is 13 years since we lost the marvellous Robert Palmer so we paid a small tribute to him. Add to that another in our series of winners of this year's British Blues Awards and we have to say - modestly - that it was one of our best shows ever!
