This programme was the latest of what we call our 'Best of the Best' shows where Mark and I both select our favourite track from each of the preceding ten shows (making twenty tracks in all). It was wall-to-wall FABULOUS music - melodic, original, intelligent, 'grown up' music by artists and bands who (most of them) don't get much airplay on mainstream radio stations. We included music by Selah Sue, Angela McCluskey music, Af Scherp, Maribou State feat. Jono McCleery, Sunflower Bean, Bear's Den, The Comet is Coming, Emily Saunders, Let's Eat Grandma and many others. There was a new single from Massive Attack feat. Hope Sandoval and the most beautiful ballad by Ólafur Arnalds feat. Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir!
