Joyful Journey

If you are a leader, be it a leader of self or a leader of many, who strives to be a force for good in the world, or if you are someone who is simply uncertain about what you really want and why it matters, then this podcast is for you! The Joyful Journey Podcast is about finding clarity about who we choose to be and the life we want to live. It’s about tapping into our inner wisdom and accessing our highest selves so we make choices that are aligned with who we are and what matters most to us. By accessing our highest selves we also make choices that are best for our families, our communities and the organizations we represent. Perhaps most important of all, by learning to tap into inner wisdom and access our highest self, we raise our vibration, unleash a great joy and heighten the collective consciousness. That, my friends, is world changing and it all starts with you and me! Welcome to the Joyful Journey Podcast.

episode 99: 3 Simple Techniques to Overcome Chronic Stress - A Conversation with Ras Contractor

In today’s episode, we meet Ras Contractor to talk about how to overcome chronic stress. Ras offers three simple techniques anyone can use right now to reduce stress, boost productivity, improve focus and engagement, and foster kindness and empathy.

About our guest

Ras Contractor graduated from UBC with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering. After spending 5 years working as an engineer while promoting nightclubs on the weekends and running a recreational sports company in the evenings, Ras transitioned into Program Management and pursued his vision of building a consulting practice as a Strategic Team Builder.

Ras has incorporated his lifelong passion for health and wellness into strategic planning, leadership development and team building programs ultimately developing Mind and Body Training which he uses as the fundamental step in the journey towards high performance.

Over the past 10 years, Ras has been building healthy, dynamic teams and organizations by installing self-development, empathy and consistent strategic planning. He understands that if people's needs are met, they thrive.
