Etiquette would say to serve a meal with meat during high tea, or pastries, little sandwiches, scones, and cakes during afternoon tea. Fellowship is the key. It's an opportunity to share our love. John 13:34 says, "I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another." (NASB).
