In this episode I talk to Claus Wilke. Claus is a data sciene professor in the Biology department at The University of Texas in Austin that makes generative art using data visualization tools. In this episode we talk about what makes Claus, Claus. We talk a bit about how he started making art, what it is he does for a day job, generative textbooks, t-SNE, The Artifact, his AI art and the process around that, blockchain technology and all kinds of other things (including a short story about the time he came out to my lakehouse south of Austin.) As always, we had a great time.
