After Eight Show - 11/10/16
As usual, we featured lots of #NewMusic from artists who don't get enough airplay on commercial stations or the Big Broadcasting Company. We had new songs from Felix Riebl feat. Emily Lubitz (Tinpan Orange), CHINAH, Astronaut Husband, Aoife O'Donovan, Adriana Evans artist/entertainer, Birdy and others. We always choose track 1 very carefully, to get your attention, but this week's track 1 was outstanding - a gorgeous song from Rosie Lowe. We paid tribute to the great Etta Jones who died this week in 2001 and our Luvva Cover feature was a chilled version of a very well known song whose original version has attracted 33 million plays on Spotify.
