Chinese Xi Jinping and US President Biden to meet at APEC
US and China leaders are due to meet in San Francisco during the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation (APEC) summit, which the US is hosting from 11 to 17 November. This is only the second time they will meet in Biden's presidency. Taiwan is set to be at the top of discussions with Israel-Hamas along with Ukraine and election interference. Relations between the two countries took a turn earlier this year. The US accused China of spying and the-then Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi visited Taiwan which led to the two countries cutting military communication.
