Food and Travel Nation with Elizabeth Dougherty
ARE THEY PUTTING GRANNY IN THE CITY DRINKING WATER
The TRUTH about Food and Travel
Original Broadcast Date: 12/23/2023
What started out as a creepy far-fetched Multiple states across the country are now allowing a process called "Water Cremation" or Alkaline Hydrolysis instead of typical cremation or direct burial.
The deceased person is placed in a sealed metal cylinder filled with water and a chemical to help speed up the decomposition process, then with gentle heat and a rocking motion the body breaks down. If they want, families are presented with an urn containing the remains of their loved ones.
But what happens to that liquid that was inside that capsule? We're told the liquid is environmentally safe, so is it being released into the sewer system, sent to a treatment facility, then recycled back into the city's water supply?
Are we "drinking" those human remains?
