When I heard Michael Jackson the singer, I never really recognize the changes in his voice. When I listen to him growing up, I noticed that he had a very high voice range. I could not tell when he sounded a little raspy. All I was hearing was a child's voice. When he was a boy, to me his singing was perfect. And when I would try to sing with his records, I didn't feel comfortable singing in high range with him. Michael could sing very high and loud. I wasn't a loud singer. I just sing out enough to be heard. Singing along with Michael's voice was never easy.

Ben the two of us need look no more…
Starting out with him was OK, but when he started singing in that high range …With the friend to call my own….. that's the part that's not always easy.

When I begin listening to Michael Jackson, when he was at age 18 or 19, then I noticed that he was no longer singing like little Michael Jackson. I noticed his voice changed then, but I never paid much attention to it because I loved his singing still. To my ears he had a great sounding voice as an adult soprano.Just a little bit of you everyday…Michael still had a beautiful young sounding voice is a young man.

When he started singing his hit singles in his 20s like Rock With You, I noticed the shake in his voice more. ...close your eyes, Let the rhythm get into you.

And as the years went by, as Michael Jackson got older, his voice changed some more. His voice got more raspy and sometimes deep. But even his raspy voice sounded good to me. I still enjoyed hearing him sing because I could still hear Michael Jackson.

I'm Gail Nobles. Thank you for tuning in and goodbye for now.
