YiFeng from Boston wrote in responding to our discussion about Moana 2 being converted from a TV show into a theatrical feature film that’s coming out later this year. I was expressing concern about that, but YiFeng reminded me in this email that Toy Story 2 was originally being planned as a direct-to-video release, but ended up getting revamped for theatrical.

Sue from Colorado writes: Your reviews of old films are always interesting, and I was thrilled to listen to your review of The Ghost and Mrs. Muir this week. It’s been my all-time favorite movie for decades – a lovely blend of romance, comedy, history, ghost story, and drama, along with having a wonderful score. I’m so happy you enjoyed it, too.
