  • What tools do we use at Podnews to make this newsletter and our podcast? Let us take you on a tour of our desk
Podcast News
  • From Airwave: Want today’s biggest tech headlines in a flash from TechCrunch? You'll want the TechCrunch Daily Crunch - recently, they've covered Elon Musk suing OpenAI, Microsoft Windows 11's Copilot, and Tim Apple promising that Apple is doing something clever with GenAI.
  • Unpacking Peanuts will celebrate its 100th episode today. The show features three cartoonists discussing the work of Charles Schulz, and looks at the strip’s impact on the medium and the world.
  • The Bitch Bible is now with PodcastOne, joining from Dear Media. It's the 27th show added to PodcastOne's network this fiscal year. The show, hosted by Jackie Schimmel, will start to produce video elements and make additional shows.
  • Alice Vassallo's podcast about animals isn't called that, but we probably can't tell you what it is called here without you never getting our emails again. Anyway, it's not, really, a BBC nature documentary, since it sets out to shame those animals who aren't really very nice. Though Alice, who is a zookeeper and a comedian, is probably a bit nicer than the animals.
  • Nordic Crimes is new today from Nils Bergman, the creator of Rättegångspodden, Sweden's largest commercial podcast - but this new series will be in English, looking at crimes across the five Nordic countries. From Acast, the first season will look at Finland's criminal history from the 1970s to the present day.
  • Dios, Patria, Yunque is a Spanish-language podcast that has taken more than a year to investigate - a secret far-right cult called El Yunque that was born in Mexico in the 1920s, but has now grown and is gaining power in Spain. It's releasing a new episode every Monday until April.
  • The Value 4 Value show has just started season four; the show examines the technological trends of the the last 30 years, and why Kyrin Down, the host, believes this is driving us towards the V4V model, rather than advertising or subscriptions. He speaks to voice actors, graphic designers and musicians who also believe in Value 4 Value.
  • Women of Web3 Podcast starts season four today. Hosted by Lauren Ingram, it aims to showcase careers in AI and Web3, so that women don't get left behind in the next iteration of the internet. Previous guests include Martha Lane Fox and Randi Zuckerberg, and today's episode features the founder of Boss Beauties, an NFT project turned media brand which has partnered with Mattel and scored funding from Serena Williams's venture fund.
