In the eighth episode of ACE AROund the Cake we talk about the intersectionality of A*identity and parenthood. For this we have arranged to meet Simon, who is taking care of his 10-year-old child in part-time parenthood. Carmen also takes part in the episode and talks about Carmen's child and experiences as an A*parent.
How do you explain to a 10-year-old child that you are on the A*spectrum? What can queer-inclusive education look like in a heteronormative world? What exactly is the difference between arousal and attraction and what does that have to do with parenting? And to what extent is the perspective of people on the A*spectrum on this topic also interesting and important for Allos?
