Einmal im Monat lädt sie sich vor allem Rapper*innen, aber auch Musikjournalist*innen, DJs und andere Gäst*innen in die Sendung ein. Austauschen, Diskutieren, Nachfragen: Was bedeutet diese Kultur für dich, für dein Leben? Wie hat sie dich geprägt? Was macht deine Musik aus? Deinen Weg als Künstler*in? Und welche Frage kannst du nicht mehr hören? Jeden letzten Donnerstag im Monat gibt es eine neue Folge. Seit 2014 produziert und moderiert Nifty MC, selbst Rapperin, DJ und Musikproduzentin, die Radiosendung doper than dope, aus der dieser Podcast hier gewachsen ist. Vor dem Mikrofon hatte sie dafür schon Rapper*innen wie Sookee, Tice, Sir Mantis, Die P, Plaeikke, Reverie oder Rebeca Lane. Alle Artists, die bei doper than dope zu Wort kommen, verdienen genau dieses Label: sie sind herausragende Meister*innen ihres Schaffens. Wenn ihre Namen im Musik-Mainstream nicht bekannter sind, liegt das vor allem daran, dass feministische Rapper*innen, Frauen und Artists aus der queeren und LGBTIQA+ Community immer noch nicht den selben Zugang zu Bühnen und Plattformen bekommen, wie manch andere Kollegen...

In 2015 I sat down with LA's finest: Rapper Reverie and DJ Lala. They had just performed in Weimar, Germany at an event I had organized.
