Straight from the depths comes a demented mix from MOTOR artist Cleanser (Jack McGougan) that’s equal parts punishment and ecstatic release. Relentless industrialism clashes with murky passages and pummeling techno leaving you needing another listen to the twisted story.

A recent graduate of UPS and the fertile underground music community in Tacoma, Cleanser came about from a live set put together for his monthly basement party. From there Cleanser has been on several MOTOR bills, including our 4th Anniversary Party with Silent Servant, and recently released Violence is a Dream on our cassette series. McGougan’s other projects include asdfs which shared bills with Holly Herndon and Rabit for Elevator
