Fame! That mystical quality that often leads its young stars to crushing downfalls, addiction, financial ruin, and personal tragedy. So, is it better to become famous later in life, when you have the wisdom and experience to handle it? For one Tennessee housewife and part-time jewelry salesperson Leanne Morgan, success came in her late 50s, but since then her career has popped; her talent, intelligence and whit have exploded in comedy clubs, comedy specials and now in comedic movies. The tragic thing is…many of us haven’t heard of her. Really, no really!

One night Peter was scrolling through his apps, looking for something to watch and then he found her Netflix special, Leanne Morgan: I’m Every Woman. Evoking memories and comedic timing reminiscent of Joan Rivers, Peter and then Jason fell in love. And we’re happy to say she’s joining us to talk about her brand of Southern-inspired comedy and hitting it big later in life.

Variety named Leanne Morgan one of the Top 10 Comics to Watch. Her recently concluded The Big Panty Tour spanned 100+ shows across the U.S. and her first Netflix special, Leanne Morgan: I’m Every Woman, was in the Top 10 - being one of the platform’s highest watched specials in 2023.

When not on the road, Leanne cherishes spending time in Knoxville, Tennessee with her husband, three children, two grandbabies, and two beagles and their buttholes.
