With only one jail meeting state standards, we expose the systemic failure that leaves the mentally ill shackled, untreated, and forgotten. As we navigate through the state's legal loopholes and the shocking absence of care, we are confronted with a stark reality: the intersection of mental health and the justice system is fraught with peril.
