Adelaide has been choking on the smoke from the Adelaide Hills bushfires and tonight we meet a man who was right at the heart of Black Tuesday bushfires that swept the Eyre Peninsula almost ten years ago to the day.
His name is David Doudle and our paths crossed via Twitter while I (Steve) was in Port Lincoln this week.
David recounts those first moments when the fire leapt out of control and then wreaked havoc in the region.
We also look back over 2014 in this episode with highlighted snippets from five interviews paired with songs we featured in the year.
We have a new entry into the SA Register - an important wine industry figure - can you guess her name?
The Arkaba Hotel also has another wine for us to give away
And we have the last Adelaide Visa Council of 2014 that just didn't fit in last week's show, including special insights from a 5 Seconds Of Summer fan about why boy band fans often dub Adelaide 'boring' when talking to their heart throbs.
