How Having a Business Coach Has Moved the Needle in My Business with Patricia Daniels P2P: 025

Patricia is founder and president of The Ryan Odelle Mance Memorial Scholarship Foundation, Inc., and organization started in memory of her beloved younger son, Ryan, who died in 1999. In addition to her work with the Mance Foundation, she also serves as the office manager in her husband’s business, A Touch of Class Interior Design LLC in Accokeek, MD.

Patricia was previously employed for the Federal government in which she held progressively responsible, analytical, and managerial positions where she received numerous performance awards, commendations, and citations, including the Treasury’s highest service Albert Gallatin Award. I’m fortunate to conisder Patricia a dear friend as well as a business colleague. Having lived next door to Patricia for years it was an honor to have her on the show.

Patricia has created something unique in the non-profit sector in that they provide a level of support to the recipients of the scholarship that is unprecendented. The students receive the scholarship for all four years of college (provided they maintain a certain grade point average) and Patricia stays in touch with all the students and treats them like family.

Questions I Asked Patricia:
  1. Share a little bit about yourself with the listeners?
  2. Can you tell us a little bit more about the Ryan Odelle Mance Memorial Scholarship Foundation?
  3. What keeps you going and drives you to grow the foundation?
  4. Why does it mean so much for you to stay in contact with the young men who are scholarship recipients?
  5. What are the growth objectives you have for the foundation?
  6. How are you pushing the needel with your objectives?
The scholarship recipients are treated like family. I stay in touch with them.Tweet This What You’ll Learn From This Episode:
