Shanna Forrestall

A native of South Louisiana, Shanna Forrestall has made her career in television and film.Though she and Charles are from the same town, Shanna can't seem to remember much about her hometown. It seemed during this conversation that Shanna isn't much on nostalgia but more about looking forward. Thats not to say that she doesn't love Louisiana since she is here to promote some worthy causes to assist  flood victims in the Bayou State.  Shanna was in town to host the 2016 New Orleans Fashion Week Awards Gala and was able to partner with her cause Coats for Cajuns and Launch Louisiana which help families through times of natural disasters and devastation. Launch Louisiana is a non profit thathelps people get back the basics by providing much needed clothes and supplies to help rebuild lives and homes.  Shanna and Charles also talk about perception of the arts and charity, female body empowerment and how men react, and the film Breathe. Being a veteran of the entertainment industry, making films with a deeper message seems to go hand and glove with her charitable pursuits. She is using her time in Louisiana to help raise awareness of the devastation still facing many thousands of people of this historic flood by providing her time, resources and much needed supplies with help from others in the fashion and entertainment industries.
