We will be “experimenting” old and new DJs from the London gay scene and further afield at all Beyond events to bring you the ultimate 2nd room experience! The Beyond Lab is inspired by the original “Future Heroes” concept which saw aspiring musical talent test their skills at some of the biggest Orange Nation parties. This week we would like to introduce CELLARDOOR: Born and bred in Vancouver's underground Electronic music scene, Kasey's first experiences a decade ago in the rave and Techno underbelly would trigger her obsession with the hypnotic sound. Having a background in music theory from a young age, Electronic music became an exciting and limitless world to explore. Early in her career she threw Electro House parties at alternative gay bar Lick, and with the (literally) underground club Lotus just below her she got a regular dose of Techno & House education by some of the best selectors in the world. After 10 years of DJing in Vancouver, across Canada + USA's West Coast, she has cemented a reputation for taking crowds on a well thought-out journey through grooving low end injected Tech-House & Techno sets. A producer and curator of many underground warehouse & alternative parties in Vancouver, Kasey has shifted her focus to music production in the last few years and has relocated to the UK where she works on completing her EP under the alias Cellardoor which is set to release at the end of 2016. residencies: Hotline.
