Whose responsibility is it to tackle fake news?

A committee of MPs will launch an inquiry into fake news, but whose responsibility is it to tackle it? First we speak to MP Damian Collins who says more needs to be done to help consumers know the origins of a news story. He goes head-to-head with Sean Adl-Tabataba, editor-in-chief at YourNewsWire.com, who says this type of regulation would be "a war on independent media". Later we speak to Jim Waterson, Buzzfeed’s UK political editor, and Professor Suzanne Franks, head of journalism at City University. They suggest social media might hold the key to stopping fake news spreading. (Image: fake news story, credit: BBC)
