Noor Inayat Khan was the first female wireless operator sent to Nazi-occupied France during World War II. After evading capture for three months, Khan was imprisoned, tortured and eventually shot by the German Gestapo at Dachau concentration camp in 1944. Justin Webb discusses with Rick Stroud, author of Lonely Courage, a new book about the women who worked for the Special Operations Executive in Nazi-occupied France, and Vrinda Grover an advocate for women’s rights in India, about how Khan's inspirational life became an important role model for women.
