Jason Howell and Megan Morrone discuss Verizon's new 5G plan. The company announced a limited pilot of its next generation 5G wireless service to 11 US markets sometime by mid-year. Verizon says this is the largest test of the new technology that promises speeds from 10 to 100 times faster than the fastest cell connections available now. The test will be deployed as a home internet solution as opposed to a mobile solution, at least initially. Test markets include Ann Arbor, Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Miami, Sacramento, Seattle, Washington, DC and more.
