This is an original stock copy from the Louise Neal 45 Collection. "Let It Rock," the originally intended A side of this two-hit single, is the side honored by Dave Marsh, who pegs the song at #554 in his list of the 1,001 greatest 45s. Still, "Pooped" became the bigger hit, and also is the side that got airplay in the Black/RnB market. In all my years of collecting, this is only the second time I've had both songs together as originally released! Collector Nerd Alert: Although the label says "Let It Rock"'s track time is 2:28, my recording of the tune shows it's really only 1:43! Note: This rarely seen Chuck Berry 45 is among those in the Neal collection that she may have actually played, and which sadly spent some of their life outside a protective sleeve. This copy has EX labels with notable ringwear (see scan). The vinyl looks rough, grading a weak VG, but the audio is surprisingly strong: The A ("Let It Rock") side is Near Mint (have a listen to the mp3 "snippet"!), while the flip is a strong EX.
