Happy New Year...
This week's show starts off with a new reggae riddim called Chronicle Of Success with a nice Vershon tune on the riddim to start off the show.
Buju Banton is getting out of jail this year! He is also getting out months early. I can't believe he sat in jail for that long for pretending to buy coke. This week I play a small tribute set to Buju's reggae side. Maybe next show we'll do a dancehall triubute.
The classic dancehall segment is full of tunes from around 2012, lots of Mavado and Aidonia tunes, Check out riddims like TNS, Push Fi Start, and Pepper.
My classic reggae segment goes deep in to the crates, far back into the 80s and all the way up to the 2000s with riddims like Answer, Bobby Babylon, Hold On and My Baby (Classic Kiprich tune "telephone Ting")
The new dancehall segment is hot with new tunes from Mavado, Popcaan, Vybz Kartel, Tanto Blacks and Beenie Man. Popcaan crushes with his new tune "Wicked Man Ting" on the "Wicked Wicked" Riddim. Also out check out the new single from Mavado called "In God We Trust".
