WA Podcast 110 – Getting Your Groove Back

Solving Webcomic Issues We All Face. Today’s discussion… Liz talks briefly about her comic “Adrastus” returning and how she got her groove back organizing her pages. That led to Christina talking about her process of drawing in Clip Studio Paint, but doing her text in Photoshop. Byron quickly talks about his scripting technique using TV/Film style scripts for his comics. Then we answer some questions from listener Jeanilee Suma of Fat Hampster Comics. Her questions are: – Which social media platforms you find most useful for sharing your comic and why? – Creative blocks, how do you deal with them? What do you do when you’re having trouble coming up with ideas for a new comic strip? – How important is it to have a posting schedule, like posts every Monday and Friday for example? I just post whenever I happen to have a comic idea and never built a buffer. Here is the Doug Hills “Animating with Clip Studio Paint” YouTube video Liz mentions in the podcast: Warning: Podcast may contain some language not suitable for all-ages
