Rock This Town by Stray Cats

Label: EMI 8132
Year: 1982
Condition: M
Price: $16.00

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original picture sleeve. I didn't realize it had been so long since I'd had this gorgeous picture sleeve in the store... Supplies of this particular sleeve ran out quickly, as I recall, when the 45 became a hit, so they don't turn up unless you bought the record pretty quickly on its release. The B side is a terrific non-LP cut: A Rockabilly cover of the Holland-Dozier-Holland hit for the Supremes. They're pointing out, of course, how similar the H-D-H tune is to Rockabilly when it comes to the rhythm bit. :-) Note: This 45 has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio). The picture sleeve is nearly flawless!
