Theresa May wants there to be more grammar schools in England but her opponents say they serve the interests of the middle class at the expense of disadvantaged children. The Education Secretary Justine Greening says new grammar schools will be targeted towards the children of "ordinary working families" and there needs to be better understanding of how their children fare in the school system. Shadow Education Secretary Angela Rayner opposes the new plans and says private schools are "a life raft for a tiny minority". (Image: Teacher teaches new class credit: Getty Images)
