Letter to Brezhnev was the low budget British film made in 1985 that went on to become an international hit. It tells the story of two young women and their encounter with two Russian sailors, portraying a gritty portrait of Liverpool life. Our entertainment correspondent Colin Paterson revisits the locations where filming took place and looks back at what the cast wanted to achieve.
