Sanchia Berg spoke to Sharon Ryan and Chris Woolhouse whose daughter, Zoe, had been in a special needs school with very little resources to help her develop and overcome her severe anxiety. Dr Adam Boddison, chief executive of the National Association of Special Educational Needs (Nasen) said that teachers at special needs schools should be offered support to develop high quality teaching so that pupils may be given good "preparation for life".
