Direct Input Podcast

Listen. There will be douche chills, flubs and bombs. There will be foul language, mispronunciations and unfulfilled details. There are no seasons. There are no ads. There are no theme songs. There isn't any video. Many of the guests aren't even booked, they're just there. Also there won't be any extensive research or ready quoted sources either. This isn't an overindulgent display of self-importance. Direct Input Podcast strives to present conversations with Journeyman musician/song writer Josh Staples. This podcast has evolved from sit down interviews to random man on the street, smoking weed in the club, mobile fuckery.

DIP034 Direct Input Podcast with James Foster of Red 13 Studios

James "Jimmy" Foster is a jack of all trades media mogul and who I consider to be the face of Red 13 Studios, located in Framingham, MA. Together we indulge in a few cocktails and manage to reach an epic level of shittiness that lasts for 2 hours. We discuss several topics, such as the developmental process of his former band Gangsta Bitch Barbie/Nullset getting signed to Capitol Records. His directing and producing of music videos for Abnormality, Whitechapel, Unearth and Goatwhore. Jim tips us off about a feature length documentary film he's producing on Godsmack and recollects seeing the band rise from obscurity over 20 years ago. There is also plenty shop talk regarding his extensive production for the cult PFG TV program that was hosted by Scorch, which largely came to fame due to relentless smashing and beating from the Opie and Anthony show. There are some douche chills but who cares, Jimmy is diamond status, one of the best in the business and a legend of the New England scene. http://www.red13studios.com/ https://www.facebook.com/r13studios https://twitter.com/r13studios https://www.instagram.com/r13studios/ https://www.youtube.com/user/Red13Media
