"The Soul Shack" w/ DJ-J-ME (May 2017) aka Birthday Edition Pt 1
So last month the Soul Shack monthly at Cadillac Jenkins fell on my birthday! (Does that explain the artwork now lol!) As if the music at this monthly wasn't already self-indulgent enough, being my birthday made it even more self-indulgent! This is the first half of the night (before I got into classic hip hop and classic house, which will be posted separately as Pt 2) Hopefully you'll enjoy the selections (and acapella/instrumental blends) as much as I do. (This mix includes my Thompson Twins "If You Were Here" redrum, which I was inspired to make, as it was the song in the background of the flyer image from 16 Candles. I also made new Prince and U2 redrums, that are also included in this mix)
