Jessica Villegas is the bassist and sings back-ups for Des Moines indie rockers, Foxholes. She is a multi-versed instrumentalist who also plays guitar in all-female outfit Honeycreeper, as well as cello for depressing experimental art collective, Tree Branch Twig. Whether at a show any number of nights a week on stage in one of her many projects or just in attendance as fan, Jessica is an ardent scene supporter. We talk about her growing up around the country, ethnicity, art, early influences, and her reluctance to calling herself a "musician".
