In an era when aspiring producers seem all too keen to either ape an existing sound to death or find a successful formula and repeat it ad infinitum, it’s always refreshing to find accomplished talents whose directions are manifold. Hailing from the Dnipro/Krivbass region in Ukraine, Volta Cab’s hugely prolific output has landed on acclaimed labels from Hypercolour to Voyeurhythm, Toy Tonics, What’s In The Box and Illusion Recordings in the 3 years since he began producing. Whether it’s blissed-out nu disco, raw deep house or rave-influnced breakbeats he’s churning out, his productions are always captivating and just a little bit different from the norm.

How would you describe your sound?

Hardcore deep house mostly recently, sometimes beatdown Detroit US house, and sometimes more new beat belgian house… something like this.

MCDE, Innershades, LTJ Bukem, Sonik Expander.

It consists a lot of new unsigned trax, with newskool hardcore deep house from me, someBelgian influence and Detroit beatdown school.
