Hawaiian Lullaby, Ka`iulani, Puamana, Pua Lilia, & Haole Hula


Hawaiian Lullaby by Peter Moon and Hector Venegas, talks of the beauty of Hawaii. Ka`iulani references the beauty of Ka`iulani and compares her to the beauty of the `Ilima flower and the beautiful and regal yellow feather lei. Puamana by Charles Kekua Farden and Irmgard Farden Aluli, composed in 1937 for the Farden Family Home in Puamana, on the west side of the island of Maui in Lahaina Town. Pua Lilia by Alfred Alohikea. Translated as “Lily Flower”, this beautiful, soft melody has overtones of love and undertones alluding to making love. Haole Hula by Alex Anderson.
