Mahina O Hōkū written by Lillian Awa and translated by Ainsley Halemanu. Speaks of love-making and the beauty revealed in the moonlight. Ulupalakua written by John Pi`ilani Watkins in 1947 to commemorate the beauty of Ulupalakua, the fragrant scent of the ginger, and the hardworking cowboys. Royal Hawaiian Hotel by Mary Pula`a Robbins in 1927. Composed for the grand opening of the $4 Million Royal Hawaiian Hotel on February 1, 1927.
