Now available for Android, Google Play, iTunes Podcasts, Stitcher, www.satanicstorytime.com, and www.radiofreesatan.com: Satanic Story Time Episode 36 – "The Body Snatchers", from Nightfall, with special guest, Aden Ardennes, contributor to Sex, Song, Sinema, & Satanism w/ David Harris, author of his book, Militant Eroticism, and brainchild of his forthcoming skin mag, Horns Magazine.
The Devil’s Tuning Fork: Aden Ardennes has selected some music for this episode of Satanic Story Time, “The Body Snatchers”. He has picked out the following tracks for our listening enjoyment: “Snatching the Dead” from Jeremiah Crow’s 2014 album, Dark Appalachian Gospel, “Long Hauls and Close Calls” from Hank Williams III’s 2008 album, Damn Right, Rebel Proud, and “Lazarus” from David Bowie’s 2016 album, Blackstar.
The Devil’s Workshop: For this installment of The Devil’s Workshop and with the cooperation of Jeremiah Crow, I am pleased to bring you “The Body Snatchers”. “The Body Snatcher" is a short story by the Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson (1850–1894). It was first published in the Pall Mall Christmas "Extra" in December 1884; its characters were based on criminals in the employ of real-life surgeon Robert Knox (1791–1862) around the time of the notorious Burke and Hare murders (1828). The story was re-written for Nightfall’s old time horror radio by Frank W. McEnaney. It was first aired by CBC radio for Nightfall’s old time horror radio on Aug. 29, 1980.
The Devil is in the Details: I recently sat down with Aden Ardennes and had the unique opportunity to talk with him on some taboo topics such as his sexually charged book release, Militant Eroticism. We also stoked the fires of his recently conceived homoerotic magazine, entitled Horns Magazine.
