DatC #034 - The Wonders of S.J. Tucker

In this episode of Down At The Crossroads, we cross paths with beloved Pixie Pirate Mythpunk Folk Rocker S.J. Tucker to talk about the recent soundtrack she did for the independent film Ember Days as well as discuss her upcoming new album Wonders of which we will be exclusively premiering several songs from in this episode. Since we will be speaking about two separate albums by S.J. all the music featured in the episode is by her and available for purchase through her website. If you live in the Nashville, TN area see her play live on August 31st at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Nashville. Besides being my first time speaking with S.J. Tucker, which I was thrilled about, this is also the first time in the new format where we take the opportunity to discuss and reflect upon the Pagan community and it's great to hear what she had to say about it.

The featured songs include:

  • "Salad of Doom" from her album, Mischief
  • "We Were Angels Once (Wake The Fallen)" from the Ember Days Soundtrack
  • "We Are Shangri-La (Emerald City Mix)" from the Ember Days Soundtrack
  • "To My Valentine" from her album, Mischief
  • "Song of the Witches" from her upcoming album, Wonders*
  • "Wonders" from her upcoming album, Wonders*
  • "For Iago" from her upcoming album, Wonders*
  • "Rootless" from the Rootless single
