James Gadson has played with Bill Withers, The Temptations, Herbie Hancock, Paul McCartney, Marvin Gaye, Ray Charles, Leonard Cohen, James Brown, Smokey Robinson, Diana Ross, Boz Scaggs, The Three Kings (Albert, B.B. and Freddie), and even more recently with the likes of Beck, Justin Timberlake and Lana Del Rey.
