There aren't too many perfect pop confections that make me smile like this one! It's one that simply must be in our online "jukebox" of mp3 snippets. This early Turtles single isn't as well known as some of their later ones, but after you hear the snippet, I'm sure you'll agree it's one of their very best. Sadly, all the Turtles hits are out of print on 7-inch vinyl. This is a copy of the first pressing, on the dark blue White Whale label; second pressings are on the light blue label. Incidentally, I've found it quite hard to find original pressings of this single in collectable condition over the years... This is only the second one I've ever owned in over 40 years of collecting and selling! And it's always on my mental list as I buy collections. Note: This copy has an unfortunately executed drillhole that has torn a bit of the label (see scan). The vinyl (styrene) grades Near Mint, as some very faint surface scuffing is visible on close inspection. The audio, I'm very pleased to say, is pristine Mint! (Have a listen to the mp3 snippet to hear what I mean.)
