Take Your Love & Run by Barbara Lynn

Label: Atlantic 2812
Year: 1971
Condition: M-
Last Price: $30.00. Not currently available for sale.

This modest hit ("I'll Suffer") was Lynn's last chart record, but it's mainly sought out today for the screaming great Motown-style Northern Soul dancer on the B side. We thought so much of it right away that we had to have an mp3 "snippet" for our online "jukebox"... so have a listen! Both sides are partly courtesy of producer extraordinaire Huey P. Meaux. Collector Nerd Alert: This was one of the last Atlantic singles to use the "old" red/white/black Atlantic factory sleeve. It was a non-album single. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Atlantic Records factory sleeve. It grades Near Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio), with only very minor flaws such as an occasional bit of light surface noise audible on the B side. The A side ("I'll Suffer") audio also has light surface noise during the quiet intro and separately grades a strong EX.
