Diego Gómez-Pickering, Consul General of Mexico in New York City, discusses the latest news following Mexico’s 7.1 magnitude earthquake, including relief efforts on the ground and what listeners can do to help.

Interested in donating? Mexican Red Cross has set up an Amazon Wish List for necessary items and accepts direct donations online. The Consul General also recommended donating to Topos México, a nonprofit rescue brigade of volunteers that was created after Mexico City's 1985 earthquake. You can donate directly via PayPal with the information in the tweet.
