Midnight Train To Georgia by Gladys Knight and the Pips

Condition: M-
Last Price: $12.00. Not currently available for sale.

This great record is well deserving of its high position in Dave Marsh's list of the 1001 greatest singles of Rock'n'Soul. I'm not sure that it wouldn't be even higher in my personal list... simply a perfect record. It was a huge hit, so presumably it sold a large number of copies, but folks must be hoarding them, cause it's not easy finding a Near Mint or better copy these days! By the way, the A side is an edited version of the 4:38 album track. The B side is also edited from a longer (6:09) album version. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Buddah Records factory sleeve. The labels grade Near Mint, with a touch of ringwear on the B label. Although the vinyl (styrene) has some notable scuffs, grading a strong EX, the audio itself sounds pristine Mint!
