Do The Popcorn by Andre Williams

Label: Checker 1214 dj
Year: 1969
Condition: M-
Price: $28.00

This is a new, unplayed promo copy from the Louise Neal 45 Collection, in its original Chess/Checker/Cadet factory sleeve. Both sides of this obscure single are dynamite examples of Funky Soul, but it's the B side that grabbed me: Check out the rhythm section in the mp3 "snippet" of the track. This was an early full Stereo 45. Note: This beautiful promo 45 has Near Mint labels, reflecting a touch of storage wear especially on the B side (see scan). The vinyl looks untouched but grades Near Mint because it's not completely flat. The audio grades very close to Mint.
