We live in a very difficult time. Where our society seems to be worried about materialism and external attributes that don't matter one bit. The few of us whom have either just reached, or are pursuing our journey towards self actualization are on a very narrow road, and it can seem lonely sometimes because the rest of the world is lost. This song is for all of you individuals beginning to see through the darkness, the deception, or the illusion. Don't let the negativity bring you down. You should be ecstatic that you are blessed to see the truth! Psychological theory on human division and competition: An imperative goal as homo-sapiens, is to bond, relate with others, and find a soulmate to share commonality with. Inevitably, the formidable truth is that we are all unique individuals and relevancy lasts momentarily. In retrospect, to this actuality, arises anxiety and insecurity which causes the individual to focus primarily on exceptionality of status and class. In conclusion, this deceptive illusion formulated through perceptions of dissimilarities, results in division of humanity. Differences are unavoidable, and instead of allowing them to initiate insecurities and uneasiness, we must focus not upon superiority, but a common goal to come together to use our uniqueness to better our society. Because we are socialized to become outer-directed, many of us have not experienced the self-approval which can blossom when we mainly capitalize on the reality of what is within us. With this truth in mind, let this allow us to see through the deception of focusing on external attributes and competing to fill a cup that is never able to be filled.
