Why are we afraid of eerie weather?


Those weird orange skies yesterday, the temperature far too warm for October and a storm clearly brewing. There was of course a scientific explanation for it all. We're told it was dust from the Sahara, smoke from Portugal and the tail end of Hurricane Ophelia. And yet it was eerie. No surprise #apocalypse was trending online. But why?
