Bruce James Bales is an independent filmmaker whose visual storytelling is making an impression across the Midwest. His company DEFT has produced music videos for many notable names in the Iowa music scene and has also produced a handful of short films. Bruce enlightens us on what drives him to create and express himself in the visual medium and how he only wishes to enhance the cultural direction of a budding art scene. His latest short film "OMW", is being toured at film fests across the country.
