Bearded Gentlemen Music Podcast

​Welcome to the new, relaunched, Bearded Gentlemen Music podcast… now called “The 1st of the Month Music Podcast”. The new format will be Jon and I looking over what happened in the prior month and basically talking about things we like and didn’​​t like. You can look for the pod to drop on the first of every month, unless if the first is on a weekend I guess. If it’s on a weekend it will either come out on the Monday after or the Friday before.

Or maybe both. Or maybe neither. Who’s to say, really?

So yeah I was joined by Jon and site writer Aaron (COOP) Cooper for this month’s show and it was a good one. We talked about things we liked and things we didn’t. But I guess that’s the format and shouldn’t be a surprise.

Although this month was extra filled with vitriol because we talked a lot about the records we didn’t like this month… and two of them were produced Greg Kurstin (who produced the Foo Fighters record we hated last month). So yeah, Greg is really off on quite a run here.

Stuff we liked? I was into the new Mountain Goats EP and that’s all that matters. Because it’s really good and I can’t think of what Jon and Coop like off the top of my head. What do you want from me? I just do the show.
